And you should buy them! Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘N’ Nite” and Jokers Of The Scene’s “Y’all Know The Name,” both gems if I do say so myself.

Finally! The video for “Pro Nails” (directed by Ruben Fleischer) premieres today on mtvU, please tell them to keep playing it and help us spread the link around! This is the first video for both Kid Sister and Fool’s Gold, and we did it all independently - your support means a lot.

Bunch of shows to the left (to the left), the Fool’s Gold blog finally moved from our MySpace page to a place where people will actually read it (plus we got shirts for sale!), Cosmo Baker drops science, DJ Soul has fun with the 90s, Snoop has fun with the 80s, and Todd Terje has fun with GNFnR.

Also people seem really into the vinyl rips, so I will keep them coming: here’s the 12″ version of “Finally” edited for mixing out after the 2nd chorus, made real quick tonight to play at the High Top Fades release party.

In case you’ve been sleeping on the label MySpace updates, recent postery includes an A-Trak Q&A with Kidz By Colette (complete with mp3 of Red Bull Music Academy’s live recording of the Trizzy vs Mehdi set from Revival in Toronto), Kid Cudi getting love on thefader.com, and the current issue of BPM, featuring the best Canadian musical trio since Rush on the cover.

Earlier this month I went on tour with A-Trak to promote our Fool’s Gold label and artists. It was a face-melter.

In other label news, Kid Sister’s “Pro Nails” single is out now (vinyl, iTunes), and a video is going to follow real, real soon. Sammy Bananas’ High Top Fades EP is also out (vinyl, Snocap), and he whipped up a dope promo mix of ’90s school dance heaters to serve as a cabbage-patching companion piece.

Also - site looks different now, don’t it? “Soft launch” (pause), it’s a work in progress…
