The homie Sabo just reminded me to post up this vid by Phenomenal Handclap Band (who I played with a few months ago, they lived up to their name) that’s a welcome throwback to Evan Bernard’s NYC street videos for JSBX and their side projects, aka MY SHIT, which in turn reminded me to post up EB’s interview on Bill McMullen’s “The Flavor Bin” podcast.

Whew. I should just go full Tumblr and post this stuff as I first stumble upon it, it’s kind of how my brain works anyway. (For the record, my favorite Tumblrs are Congorock, Mr Ducker, Mike Jones, and Golden Fiddle, in no particular order.)

Excellent ACG retrospective. I’m still trying to find out a trail runner they made around the 97/98 Terra Humara era, had the same little diamond mountain logo on the tongue, came in forest green and navy blue colorways, sorta looked like Air Bursts with a chunky tan gum sole. Had em at Champs. HELP MEEEE!

(Sidebar: how come they never reissue Air Max 98s? Shits were comfy.)

Mi amigo Mike Jones started a “inspiration” Tumblr of stuff he comes across in the design process. I’m with that. Some of the absolute best stuff on the internet is the random by-products of Google image searches and eBay rabbit holes, its nice to see them together as a narrative. PS The spring season of Mishka gear is out now and it’s twistin my melon, man.
