While in Texas for SXSW I linked up with my dude Mike 2600 and got copies of the new Do It To It deejay remix compilation he’s curated for the third year in a row. My party mix of Kid Sis “Beeper” (titled “Beep Me 911″ here) hits the world at large for the first time, along with a bunch of other fun tunes, all beautifully wrapped in screenprinted clear vinyl sticker paper. I took on Dandi Wind’s “Adolescent” for their remix album Sacrificial, just released by the most excellent Summer Lovers Unlimited (NORTH I SEE YOU).

You can listen to it here and purchase the whole LP on the DW MySpace for five buckaroos. Other remixers include Jokers of the Scene, Bitchee Bitchee Ya Ya Ya, South Central and more. My version is the one that’s less rave cave, more The Crow soundtrack.
